It's Garbage Day
41 degrees at 5:15

Here is the YNN Weather Forecast as posted yesterday afternoon.
(Apparently I was not the only person who stayed up late last night, but at least I can go back to bed after I hit "publish.")

"Thursday will be breezy and mild with scattered showers on and off, a few breaks of sun and temperatures peaking in the 60s.
Friday looks very windy with a few spotty showers and temperatures peaking mostly in the 60s. A secondary front will then arrive on Saturday with a few spotty showers, some steadier more localized Lake Effect rain and a gusty, chilly breeze. Less wind is expected Sunday along with lingering clouds and maybe a few spotty light showers.
High pressure is then expected to settle in for Monday and Tuesday with dry weather, a fair amount of sun and milder temperatures."

First Things First
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

From Brenda Knoeller, Village of Waterville: "The new billing due date takes effect with this billing cycle and any Combined Utility Bill not paid on or before October 31, 2013 will incur a penalty."

Also, from the WCS Calendar: Tomorrow (November 1) is the last day to pay School Taxes in Waterville.

Sleep late on Sunday.

On Monday: Rural Community Development Specialist Caroline Williams will meet with members of the "Waterville First" group and other members of the community at 12:00 noon in the Community Room at the Waterville Public Library. According to John Brouillette, "The objective (of this meeting) is for her to share initial tactics and strategies with us to keep rolling with initiatives that we have already started."

(If you, too, are concerned about Waterville's future and as yet are unaware of just what these "initiatives" are, you should attend this special meeting if you can!)

Today, if you didn't already know it, is Hallowe'en.

Also, the Red Sox won the World Series, 6 - 1.

Even Cardinals fans should be able to understand that this is the best possible Treat for the city of Boston!
