Fix-up Projects

The Victorian "eyelids" above windows on the "Blue House" on West Bacon Street have recently been repainted.

Scraping is in progress at this West Bacon Street home .....

..... and, right down the street,  a huge amount of foundation refurbishing is being done.

Camera Shy?  Dan Maine and Jim Crawford have just about finished replacing the front porch and steps at The House in the Hollow.

Out in the Country

So many wild hop vines, but so frustratingly just-out-of-reach!

This is the time of year when the Marshall Trail is one of the most beautiful spots around .....

............ but those heading there for a walk or run should be forewarned: although the new paving on Burnham Road is wonderfully smooth, there is also a 4" - 8" shoulder to deal with, and gives new meaning to "pulling off the road."

A "Help" request from the Blogger;

Yesterday, while I was out of town, someone left a humungous and beautiful chrysanthemum on my back porch, but there's no hint of where it came from!

Someone must know, and I'd really appreciate a clue or two!!!

or - if it was you, Thank you so much!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

See you at "Cruisin."
