It's Recyclables Day. 31 degrees and overcast at 7:30.

(Sorry: I overslept! This is an abbreviated blog post, but I will add to it as I find material.)

The YNN Weather Forecast: "Any lingering flurries or snow showers around this morning will come to an end giving way to partly cloudy skies. Temperatures should also be rather seasonable with highs in the 30s.

We get through the daylight hours of Thursday dry with highs in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees; however, Thursday night there will be an area of low pressure passing just to the north, providing a few scattered rain/snow showers into Friday.

Temperatures for the tail end of the work week are forecast to top out in the upper 30s but there will be a colder air mass settling in this weekend with highs only in the teens and 20s."

Yesterday

Some of the ice that had covered the little waterfall next to Gridley-Paige Road  had thawed ....

..........  but new ice seemed to be forming in front of "the caves" in Forge Hollow.
