WKTV's Weather Forecast: "Freezing Rain Advisory for Oneida, Madison and Otsego Counties from early Monday morning until Noon Monday.*
*Winter Weather Advisory for Lewis, Herkimer, Hamilton, Fulton and Montgomery Counties from early Monday morning until Noon Monday. *
Good Monday morning! A wintry mix of precipitation continues to advance into Central New York, bringing a short window of freezing rain to the majority of the viewing area. Freezing rain will be light, but could cause a few slick spots on untreated roadways. Freezing rain changes to plain rain between 8-9am in the Mohawk Valley. It will take an hour or two longer for the changeover to take place in the typical colder spots north and east of the valley. Areas south of the valley will see a changeover between 7-9am. Plain rain showers are expected this afternoon with plenty of clouds. Highs near 40. "
