The WKTV Weather Forecast:  "**Flood Watch for Onieda, Madison, Chenango, Herkimer, Hamilton, Fulton, Montgomery and Otsego Counties Wednesday Night and Thursday**
**A high wind watch is in effect for Central New York from 7pm this evening until 7pm tomorrow***
Near record warmth today with temperatures climbing into the 50s this afternoon.  Clouds along with a passing shower possible through the early afternoon.  Steady rain arrives this evening ahead of a cold front.  
A powerful cold front arrives tonight, bringing a round of heavy rain, potentially damaging winds, and even some thunder.  Wind gusts up to 50mph possible as the front crosses the area shortly after midnight.  Heavy rainfall tonight with 1-2" possible. 
A return to cooler weather on Thursday with a band of lake effect snow forming across the North Country.  The lake snow may drift southward toward the Thruway corridor for Thursday Night and Friday.  Seasonably cool weather continues into the weekend."

Yesterday was another gray day, and despite Spring-like temperatures it was gloomy throughout.


The field views in Hanover have undergone another change.




When I headed northward, mist was forming in the valley .....


.... and, half-an-hour later,  there was nothing to be seen between Hanover and Skyline Drive!
