"Bright and Warm, Showers Return Later this Week
"Today will pretty much be a carbon copy of Sunday, with bright sunshine and warm temperatures.
Tuesday will feature abundant sun as well, but look for a few clouds to work in late in the day.
Some moisture will try to head up from the south Wednesday and Thursday, but neither day looks like a washout. At most it looks like just a few sprinkles/showers for the middle of the week."

Sunday, here & there.
They began lining up before noon .......
............. and nearly an hour later Kent Cole and other members of the United Methodist Church Parish were still filling orders for Chicken BBQ!
Outdoors, Paul Holic was mowing ....
............ and on the other side of West Bacon Street, Jill Getman was doing the same.
Some residents of the Schoolhouse Apartments had found a more relaxing way to spend Sunday afternoon ....
............ as had the dozen or more motorcyclists who had pulled in at Nice 'n Easy for a break.
********
I could have mown or pulled weeds, but opted to just ride around enjoying Spring!
Magnolias are all in bloom .......
.................... their huge "saucer" blossoms making up for last year's freeze.
From super-sized blossoms to the tiniest - these, on a Norway Maple in Monument Park - all seem to hum with the serenade of happy honey bees.
Foragers are happy, too, because "Fiddleheads" of Ostrich Fern have appeared! Gently steamed, they taste just like asparagus - or maybe a little bit better!
To cook them: Clean the fiddleheads. Rinse thoroughly, then place
in a bowl of cold water. Remove any bits of the brown papery coverings,
and rinse again until they look green and clean with no leftover papery
bits.
Add water to the saucepan or steamer, but don't submerge the ferns. Steam the fiddleheads for 10-12 minutes, until tender.
