According to a comment on  WKTV's Facebook page,
Route 12 is open again.

It's Recyclables Collection Day
25 degrees with light snow at 5:30 a.m.

The YNN Weather Forecast:  "Lake Effect Snow Slowly Tapers, Improvements Late Week

Snow showers will gradually taper through the day but once again, temperatures will be well below average with highs only in the 30s (wind chills in the teens and 20s).

High pressure gains control Thursday allowing for quieter weather and more seasonable temperatures as we climb closer to 50 degrees under partly cloudy skies. A storm system slides up the East Coast on Friday; however, we’ll be spared any sort of precipitation and just pick up on some extra cloud cover with highs in the upper 40s.

Quiet conditions are expected to carry through the first half of the weekend with scattered rain showers entering the forecast by Sunday."

According to 511NY Route 12 is open, but
there are a few more inches of "white stuff" out there and there seems to be an unusual amount of traffic on Route 315.

"Playing it Safe" is good!
