It's Garbage Day

32.7 degrees at 6:00 a.m.

WKTV's Weather Forecast: "A storm is forecast to stall in the Atlantic, and absorb upper level energy from the northwest on Thursday and Thursday Night, bringing Central New York some snow.  The storm's impact will be over by late Friday, with a return to sunshine and highs in the upper 30s.
A taste of early spring this weekend, with high pressure bringing sunshine and milder temperatures.  Saturday morning's parade starts out with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 30s.  By the afternoon, temperatures will climb into the mid 40s.  Upper 40s, perhaps 50 is possible by Sunday afternoon!
The next weather system arrives early next week, bringing rain, followed by some snow showers.

FOR THE RECORD

******

Please don't stop reading right now!

The following is a

"Public Service Announcement"

for residents / property-owners in Marshall and Sangerfield Townships and the Village of Waterville.

I've agreed to publish this as a favor to the municipalities so that they can be made aware of all potential hazards, but also because (as I interpret it) you might not otherwise be aware that IF your property should be damaged by a future event like
Spring flooding or a land or rock slide
you should not automatically expect municipal, county, State or federal financial assistance in recovery
if you have not completed and returned this form prior to the event!

You can do that by:

  • 1. clicking on these images to download and print;
  • 2. pick up copies at the Township or Village offices;
  • 3. fill out the forms ONLINE by clicking this link:

Now - have a fine weekend, everyone!
