Friday morning.
It's 19 degrees at 7:30 a.m.

No: I'm not sick!
No cold, flu or anything like that - but thank you for your concern!
I've simply gone into seasonal full-time artist mode, a condition that will probably last for another week or so.

On my one abbreviated tour of the Village, yesterday, I did stop to admire the new railings at St. Bernard's.  Perfect!

Library Director Jeff Reynolds got off to a much earlier start than I did and sent these two beautiful pictures of the Library to me:

(Thank you, Jeff!)

The community has been shocked and saddened by the sudden death of "The Good Ole Boy," Robert (Bob) Durant.

I want to extend my condolences to Kelly Hildreth and her family on the death of her mother, Nancy Thomas, and
to Patty Louise and her husband Steve Gannon, both of whose fathers passed away this week.

YNN's Weather Forecast:

"Lake Effect Snow Showers Today, Widespread Snow This Weekend

Lake effect snow will gradually weaken and position itself southeast of Lake Ontario today. The higher snow accumulations (in addition to what has fallen over the past few days) will generally be in the 3 to 6 inch range east/southeast of the lake. Aside from the snow, it is going to be downright cold with temperatures this afternoon falling into and through the teens. Tonight will feature flurries or a snow shower with lows ranging from 5 to 10 degrees but outlying areas will likely be even colder than that.
This weekend we'll be watching a storm system track in from the south, providing widespread/steady (and potentially heavy) snow Saturday into Sunday. While accumulating snow IS expected, it's still an early call on exact amounts. Also worth mentioning, temperatures look to stay below average through the weekend with highs in the 20s for most.
In the wake of the aforementioned storm system, it seems as though lake effect snow will develop once again early next week."

Stay warm. Stay safe .... and
Have a good weekend everyone!
